I got some demos to work in UProject so it looks like it's communicating.

Can you please resend my LCDC activation code to my email address on file?

Thanks,
Haplo

Great. And thanks for the very fast reply Troy.

I got the resistor off and the displays turns on and powers the fans with only floppy power connected. However the screen is garbled, please see attached.

Hi Haplo, The jumpers referenced by images 1 and 2 are 0 ohm resistors. You are correct, to power from the floppy connector and light the screen before the OS loads, heat and remove the resistor from location 2 near the top right of the board. As mentioned, the resistor at location 1 should be pres...

LK204-24 soldering jumpers

I have a MX422 that I'm looking to use for fan control. According to Section 2.1.2 of the LK204_24 manual "Soldering Jumper 1, and removing Jumper 2 will allow power to be supplied externally." So my display can start working before the OS loads. But looking at the pictures and my display ...

OK, so at least I know its not just me. Question: Do either or both the boxes you tried the download on have WinZip installed? I have WinZip 8.1 SR-1. Im still seeing the Virtual Display lock up frequently. If I then turn off and back on just the virtual display, it remains blank while the real disp...

Ok so I've never seen that before. It is still defaulting the file to .tgz for me. I renamed it to .rar and winrar unpacked it fine. Took a quick browse through my registry to see if there was anything funky and nothing jumped out at me. And this is virtually a new build of XP Pro... I'll figure it ...

Followed the link. The 1.2 there is an the Alpha version? It lists as a .Rar file, but downloads as a .Tgz file. I tried both winzip and winAce to unpack.

Isn't .Tgz linux?

Thanks. I appreciate your attention. Just to provide more info: I did get MBM5 and LCDC installed and can control my fan speeds with the version 1.1 drivers. However, I get frequent lock ups of the Virtual Display and LCDC itself crashes a fair amount. I hope and assume this will all clear up when I...

MX422 Driver Problems.

Just got my MX422, got it installed OK, booted into Windows XP and it detected it as MX4/5. It prompted to install drivers and I followed the instructions on the .doc file from the CD (d:/USB_Drivers). It installed drivers for MX2/3 for both USB and for Port. When I rebooted I got a windows protecti...

Bernadine said this might be available by today for new units.

I'm looking to buy a MX222. If I order it today, will it have this new firmware?

Thanks,
Haplo
