Serial works
Suppose you'd have to get lots of PCI serial controllers?

I have the opposite problem; all the case fans goto 100% (they only need to be @ 25-40% tops) on startup until LCDC starts. I've tried using the bootup program to set the GPO startup defaults, but I can't seem to make it work. Even when LCDC starts, it doesn't turn down one of the fans (the front on...

The limitation is 16 feet. No idea how you could overcome it, but I think it is possible.

Try making them into a group and then showing that group momentarily?

Something along those lines might work :)

If your talking about the MX series VFDs (which are now on the website), then I think they have exactly the same features in terms of fan headers, temperature probe sockets, etc... VFDs are also alot brighter than LCDs, thus meaning they are easier to read from across a room, and they tend to work b...

I like the digital potentiometers! Does anyone know if you could feasibly hook these into LCDC? Then you could have an auto and a manual mode (selected between by a keypad button...) with the digital potentiometers controlling fan speed while in manual, and maybe you could change them to something e...

Remember this is a discussion forum though, so if your having real problems you might like to try emailing them?

Alternatively, I don't know if you already post over at forums.bit-tech.net, but there are alot of Matrix Orbital users there, so you might like to try that.``

Well the MX2 is probably going to be abit simpler to use than the MX4 It depends on how much space you have, and how complicated you want to get, and how much you want to spend. As your a begineer, I'd suggest an MX2 The silver aluminium faceplate will match your Lian Li case well. Although it won't...

From 12 foot I *think* you would be struggling. A VFD would be far better for that kind of distance I think. If you do really want to go VFD it wou;ld have to be one of the blue on white, or perhaps white on blue as these generally have the best contrast (well apart from black on green, but thats ab...
